Dr. Baldioceda has more than 25 years of experience in restorative dentistry and more than 15 years in treatment of Orofacial Pain and TMJ problems. He graduated form the University of Costa Rica in 1977. He spent 4 years at UCLA School of Dentistry (1985-1989), where he received his specialty training in Orofacial Pain, a Master in Oral Biology, Fellowship in Head and Neck Chronic Pain at the UCLA School of Medicine. He also attended multiple continuing education courses in removable and fixed prosthodontics also at UCLA.  Dr. Baldioceda has several publications in some of most prestigious journals in the United States in the area of Orofacial Pain.
